Spring Fed Art Reproduction by Andrew Wyeth
In creating Spring Fed, Wyeth was inspired by the sights and sounds experienced inside and outside the barn at Kuerner farm. At front is shown the cement trough in which milk was chilled by the spring water running down Kuerner Hill--also visible here through the window. Wyeth described the sensory sensations of the trickling water, the clang of the bucket and the hollow sound of the feet of cattle just outside the barn. Printed in 1972 by Triton Press. Image size is 36" x 25". Overall measurement is 40" x 30".
